The Master of Arts in Euroculture: Europe in the wider world is a unique interdisciplinary and inter-university project. It aims to prepare graduates from Europe and third-countries for professions and research areas in which knowledge of present Europe and European Union institutions are of relevance.
The focus of the programme is on cultural and social developments in Europe – heritage as well as standards, values and citizenship.

The European Commission has selected the Euroculture Programme for the Erasmus Mundus Masters Courses. The Erasmus Mundus programme aims to enhance quality in European higher education and to promote intercultural understanding through co-operation with third countries. The Euroculture Programme is able to confer Erasmus Mundus scholarships for highly qualified third-country graduate students.

The programme consists of three semesters (90 ECTS) during which students study at two universities of the network and by which they receive a double-degree – one diploma from each of the universities in which they have studied.
